Bankfields Primary School

Bankfields Primary is a county school maintained by Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, situated on the outskirts of Eston, in a pleasant location. We cater for children aged between 3 and 11 years and aim to provide an excellent education. The school is situated in a residential neighbourhood serving a catchment area with mainly municipal housing plus a small private estate.
Our school site is well appointed and includes extensive playing fields and three playgrounds. We believe in a genuine partnership between teachers, parents, pupils and governors with the interests of the children as our central theme. We want our pupils to feel valued, safe and happy, and our parents to be secure in the knowledge that their childrens needs are being met and their interests catered for. The staff and governors are committed to providing a creative, stimulating learning environment in which children and adults alike can flourish and reach their full potential.
We have the highest expectations of all our pupils in terms of academic progress and behaviour and we also value active participation and achievement in our sports and arts activities. We are a successful Primary School that has a committed and inspired team working hard to achieve quality teaching and learning in an environment that promotes positive relationships and good behaviour.
